A big part of our offering is working with universities directly. We supply both DSA-funded and unfunded 1:1 support for students.

Often, HE providers struggle to supply staff and resources to support every student's academic-support needs and we are asked to provide that role. Although many students involved may have an existing DSA award for in-house support, there is no specific need for the students we work with to have been through the DSA process. A student may not be eligible due to the course they are on, they may be an international student or simply have been identified as needing extra support generally - or for a specific project or assignment.

Our specialist remote offering means that we can support students without the need to book rooms or request access to buildings or systems. Essentially, we provide DSA-standard mentoring, study skills and additional learning support directly to students, usually guided by internal or external diagnostic reports or needs assessment recommendations. In addition, we welcome bespoke guidance from the faculty, course or module leader, personal tutor, and the disability or student support teams.

On request, we are also happy to attend formal or informal meetings with staff, to gather, first-hand, details of the HEPs academic and general expectations of a student, further enabling us to properly work towards helping them achieve those expectations.

Our flat rate rate for this service is £52 per hour (+VAT).
